Orange-crowned Warbler

Spring:
  In the spring, you can experience the unbelievable passerine migration that occurs throughout the state.  Seeing over 30 species of warblers in one day regularly occurs during May. Also expect to see many shorebirds, flycatchers, vireos, and sparrows.

 

 

Prairie Warbler

Summer:
  During the summer a visit to Indiana can produce such breeding birds as King Rail, Black-necked Stilt, Cerulean Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler, Blue Grosbeak, and Henslow’s Sparrow.
